The Elephant Sanctuary, a partner of PP Paradis in Krabi, was founded by a Thai family passionate about these fascinating creatures.
These elephants, once mistreated and forced to work hard, now live a peaceful and serene life, far from their past traumas.
Three elephant interaction programs are offered:
This excursion, in partnership with an ethical elephant sanctuary, offers you a unique opportunity to interact with these majestic animals. The elephants at this sanctuary have been rescued from forced labor such as circuses, tourist rides, or agriculture, which prevents them from returning to the wild. Funds raised through visits and donations are used entirely for their well-being: food, veterinary care, shelter, and the infrastructure necessary for their comfort.
Walk with the elephants, feed them, take part in a mud bath and bathe with them in the river.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (+ transport)
Departures: 7:30 am, 11:00 am or 1:00 pm
Included: transfers from hotels in Ao Nang, Krabi Town and Klong Muang, fruit and water. For Railay, a boat trip to the Ao Nam Mao pier is required.
Price: 1500 THB/adult, 1100 THB/child
Discover the life of elephants, prepare their food and natural remedies, participate in a mud bath and take a river bath with them.
Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes (+ transport)
